Yes. We serve private homes, vacation rentals, and approved private event spaces in the Sarasota area as long as there is a safe, dry, flat, and well-ventilated cooking area.
How much does a Sarasota hibachi party cost?
Basic is $50 per adult with 2 selections. Premium is $60 per adult with 3 selections. Kids are $30 with 1 selection. The event minimum is $500.
Is a deposit required to book?
Yes. A $50 deposit is required to reserve your date and is applied toward your final balance.
What can we choose?
Chicken, New York Strip Steak, shrimp, tofu, or extra vegetables. Selections may be repeated. Salmon and scallops are +$5, Filet Mignon +$10, and Lobster Tail +$15 per upgraded selection.
What do we need to prepare?
Please provide tables, chairs, plates, utensils, napkins, and a dry, flat, well-ventilated cooking area.
Can you handle allergies or special requests?
Usually, yes. Please tell us in advance about any allergies or special requests. If you need a specific gluten-free sauce, olive oil, avocado oil, or another specialty product, please have it ready for the chef. We can adjust the cooking order when possible; for guests avoiding seafood, we can prepare their food first and cook seafood last to help reduce cross-contact. Because the cooking surface and tools are shared, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
What happens if it rains?
A covered outdoor area works best. A safe indoor area may also work if it is well ventilated and there is enough space for the chef and grill.
How long is the hibachi experience?
Most hibachi experiences are about 90 minutes. Timing may vary depending on the number of guests.
How do we pay?
Cash is preferred. Zelle and Venmo are also accepted. Credit card payment can be arranged in advance and includes a 4% processing fee.
